Resources have been developed to assist educators to increase capacity amongst students and staff in cancer control. These include assessment fact sheets, competency assessment tools, and implementation tools to assist educators in using the EdCaN learning resources. The theoretical concepts discussed have influenced the design and choice of learning and assessment resources. Importantly, trends towards experiential and deep learning have been embraced by the EdCaN project. Learning activities used throughout the case-based learning resources are integrated and emphasise developing higher order critical thinking skills and well rounded professional performance.
